Dean Streator Holiday Concert
The Bethel Park Community Foundation’s annual Dean Streator Holiday Concert will be at 2:30 p.m. Dec. 10 at the Bethel Park Community Center, 5151 Park Ave.
Performing seasonal favorites are Community Band South, under the direction of Max Gonano; Bethel Park High School’s Top 21 chamber choir, conducted by Todd Kuczawa; and the Handbell Ringers of Southminster Presbyterian Church, Samantha DeFurio and Mark Etzel, directors.
Admission is free, but donations are accepted to support the work of the Bethel Park Community Foundation.
Senior citizens invited to luncheon
Bethel Park Recreation Department’s annual senior citizen Christmas luncheon is scheduled for 1 p.m. Dec. 15 in the Bethel Park High School cafeteria. Please do not arrive before 12:15 p.m.
A shuttle service will be available from the parking area to the entrance of the high school. The cost is $11 per person.
Registration deadline is Dec. 8, or until the event is filled. Walk-ins are not permitted. The event is for Bethel Park residents only.

‘Miracle on Main Street’ performances
South Hills Church of the Nazarene’s Acting Up Club will present the musical “Miracle on Main Street” at 6 p.m. Dec. 9 and 10.
The church is at 5601 Library Road, Bethel Park. Admission is free, and a cookie reception will follow the performances to meet and greet the performers and staff.
South Hills Coin Club to meet
The monthly meeting of the South Hills Coin Club will be at 7:30 p.m. Dec. 12 at the Bethel Park Municipal Building, 5100 W. Library Ave.
Members and the general public are welcome. The program is the annual Christmas party. A 50-50 will be offered, and children’s prizes awarded.

Holiday tea at library
Bethel Park Public Library will host a holiday tea from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Dec. 15.
Featured will be holiday music and games while while tea is served with finger sandwiches and sweets. Donation is $10. Visit bethelparklibrary.org.
Library to host parenting program
A program on “Parenting in the Age of iPhones and Facebook,” presented by Outreach Teen and Family Services, is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. Jan. 10 at Bethel Park Public Library, 5100 W. Library Ave.
The one-hour presentation will include insight into children’s and teens’ lives with social media, along with strategies for parents to help their children navigate safely.
A part of the local community for more than 40 years, Outreach Teen and Family Services provides counseling and programs to support the mental health needs of youth in the South Hills area. The organization’s focus is one of empowerment, prevention, education and early intervention.
DivorceCare program offered
South Hills Church of the Nazarene, 5601 Library Road, Bethel Park is offering DivorceCare.
The Winter 2024 Session will be held in the fellowship hall each Thursday at 7 p.m. from Jan. 25 through April 25. All meetings are offered in person and online through GoogleMeet. For more information and to sign up at any time, contact the facilitators at dc@shcn.org.

The Bethel Park Historical Society is supporting an event series with Allegheny Land Trust to benefit Bethel Park residents. Programs are at the historical society headquarters, 2600 South Park Road, except where indicated:

• Harvesting Rainwater 101, 6 to 7 p.m. Jan. 15
• Better for Bees, 4:30 to 5:15 p.m. Feb. 12

64th annual coin show
The South Hills Coin Club will hold its 64th annual coin show from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Feb. 3 at the Crowne Plaza Suites Pittsburgh South, 164 Fort Couch Road, Bethel Park.
There will be 20 plus dealers buying gold and silver coins, and currency. For more information, call 724-984-66111.
