The show goes on
The Bradford Woods Couples Club is putting on an original comedy, “The Show Must Go On?” at 8 p.m. May 19-21 at the Bradford Woods Firehall.
All profits go to fund local nonprofits.
Club members handle all aspects of the show: writing, staging, audio-visuals, props, make-up, acting, singing and dancing.
Tickets are available at The Berry Vine Gift shop on Bradford Road.
The Bradford Woods Couples Club is a neighborhood social club founded back in the late 1950s. In 1962, the club started putting on an original comedy every other year. Because of covid restrictions, the club had to cancel the 2020 play but is back in 2022 for the 31st running.
Civil War Roundtable
The Greater Pittsburgh Civil War Roundtable will meet at 7 p.m. June 20 at the Hampton Township Community Center on 1301 McCully Road, in Hampton.
Michael Kraus, curator of Soldiers & Sailors Memorial Hall & Museum in Oakland, will present “Civil War Treasures and Stories from the Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Hall.”
Lecture is free and open to the public. Masks and social distancing required.
Concert chorale
The North Hills Chorale will host its spring concert, “Sounds of Sondheim: A Tribute Concert,” on May 14-15.
The first show will be 7 p.m. at the First Presbyterian Church of Bakerstown, 5825 Heckert Road in Richland Township.
The second event will begin at 3 p.m. May 15 at Memorial Park Church, 8800 Peebles Road in McCandless.

Mega Sports Camp
Back for its ninth year, Northgate Church Mega Sports Camp provides a week of free fun for kids in first through sixth grades. Camp dates are June 20-24, from 6-8:30 p.m. at the church, 238 West View Avenue, Ross.
Kids can choose clinics in baseball, basketball, soccer, cheerleading, gymnastics, dodgeball, or art.
Upbeat music, playing games, skits, singing and learning Bible stories are among the activities designed to help children discover their character traits for success in life.
While the camp is free, registration is required. Space is limited, so early registration is recommended either online at www.northgatechurch.com/mega or by calling the church office, 412-931-6016.
Shaler reunion
The Shaler Area High School Class of 1975 will hold a 65th Birthday Reunion from 6 to 11 p.m. Saturday, June 4 at the Teutonia Mannerchor of Pittsburgh. Tickets are $55 each, which includes a buffet dinner. A cash bar will be available, and entertainment will include music, a reunion-themed photo booth and karaoke. Car show
Hampton Presbyterian Church is hosting a car show from 2-6 p.m. May 21 with all makes and models are welcome.
People can bring their own tables, chairs, and EZ-ups for family-friendly fun. There will be music by DJ Denny Dutko and various food booths. People can stroll among the vehicles, gab with the owners, then sit back, relax, and enjoy the spring evening. All are welcome.
