Marshall seeks environmental council volunteers
Marshall Township is seeking volunteers for the township’s new Environmental Advisory Council, which will consist of five residents appointed by the Board of Supervisors for three-year terms.
The council will help identify environmental problems and needs and promote protection and conservation of environmental resources. Environmental knowledge and experience are not required but would be favorable.
Those interested should email nhanson@twp.marshall.pa.us by July 14. The letter should include personal background and why the person is interested in a seat on the council. The Board of Supervisors will schedule interviews after reviewing the submitted letters of interest.
Stories to tell
The Bradford Woods Conservancy is hosting Storytelling at the Bradford Woods Reserve 6:30 p.m. on July 28.
There will be a campfire and s’mores. People should bring a blanket or a lawn chair on which to sit.
Parking at the Reserve at Bradford and Lincoln roads is limited, so people are encouraged to walk if possible.
Put a ring in it
The Raleigh Ringers, an acclaimed professional hand-bell ensemble, will be in concert 7 p.m. July 14 at the North Catholic High School Cahouet Auditorium.
The Raleigh Ringers are based in Raleigh, N.C., and the concert is presented by Ring Pittsburgh, John Daniel Associates and Baird Private Wealth Management.
