Visits by Santa

Santa Claus is coming to the McCandless/Northern Allegheny Heritage and Cultural Center.

Appearances at the center, 830 Aufman Lane, are scheduled for 4:30 to 8:30 p.m. Dec. 20 and 1 to 4 p.m. Dec. 21 and 22.

Take photos of your kids with Santa for free. While you are there, check out the holiday decorations and exhibits at the center.

North Allegheny concerts

Holiday concerts continue in North Allegheny School District:

Dec. 12: Marshall Middle School Chorus, Ingomar Middle School Chorus, Carson Middle School Orchestra, all at 7 p.m.

Dec. 16: Bradford Woods Elementary School Orchestra, 6 p.m.; Peebles Elementary School Band, 7 p.m.

Dec. 17: Bradford Woods Elementary School Band and Chorus, 6 p.m.; McKnight Elementary School 4th Grade Chorus, 6 p.m.; McKnight 5th Grade Chorus, 7 p.m.; Ingomar Elementary School Chorus, 7 p.m.; Hosack Elementary School Chorus, 7 p.m.; Franklin Elementary School Chorus, 7 p.m.

Dec. 19: North Allegheny Senior High Band, 7 p.m.

Marshall tree pickup

Holiday tree pickup in Marshall will occur on residents’ regular collection days from Jan. 6-17.

Trees larger than 6 feet must be cut into 4-foot sections. Ornaments and lights must be removed.

Pickup is for live trees only. Artificial trees will not be accepted.

Marshall open house

An open house for residents to view and learn more about Marshall’s Zoning Ordinance and Subdivision/Land Development draft is scheduled for 6 to 9 p.m. Jan. 15 on the lower level of the municipal building, 525 Pleasant Hill Road.
