The event is one of the many fund-raisers held by the department, with the proceeds benefiting the general and building funds.

Brain injury program at Pine-Richland

Pine-Richland High School will partner with BrainSTEPS to host an informational night about brain injuries, including concussions, starting at 6 o’clock on March 12.

BrainSTEPS offers brain injury-related consultation and training to school staff members, students and parents in all Pennsylvania public schools. The program also monitors students by checking in with their parents annually until the student graduates, aiming to identify any new learning or behavior issues that may arise over time, which is common after a brain injury.

RSVP by 5 p.m. March 8. For more information, visit www.pinerichland.org and search Headlines and Features.
