Longtime Trib Total Media employee Lindsay Bock has been appointed the company’s new advertising and marketing director.
Bock, 47, of Springdale, will step into the role Dec. 1, Trib Total Media President and CEO Jennifer Bertetto said.
Bock has worked for the Trib for 25 years and has served as director of marketing for the last five years. Her promotion comes as Al DiCroce retires from the post of advertising director at the end of the year.
“She will be perfect for what this organization needs moving forward,” DiCroce said of his successor.
Bock launched her career with Trib Total Media as a marketing intern while she was earning a degree from St. Vincent College. She landed a full-time position with the company after graduating in 2000, working first as a promotions associate before climbing through the ranks.
“I found that I love media,” Bock said. “I love newspapers. I love the mission of our organization. I feel that I have a passion for the mission of our organization, because what we do matters.”
Bertetto called Bock “the quintessential Trib leader.”
“Her strong print and digital skills, combined with her deep-seated relationships with our community and staff, will be critical as we forge a new path forward,” Bertetto said. “Lindsay understands that our success is built on providing our advertisers with powerful, multi-platform solutions, and I have complete confidence in her ability to lead this vital team.”
Bertetto credited Bock for growing community engagement initiatives, including the Best of the Best Community Choice Awards.
“Her longevity and dedication are unmatched, but more importantly, her innovative thinking and commitment to serving our advertisers across all platforms makes her the ideal person to guide our advertising and marketing teams into a new era of growth,” Bertetto said.
Trib Total Media Chief Revenue Officer Matt Miller said it’s “always difficult to lose an advertising director of the caliber of Al DiCroce.”
“At the same time, it makes me proud to work for a company that promotes from within and rewards the dedication of lifelong employees like Lindsay,” he said. “Lindsay’s 25 years of marketing experience have been invaluable to our organization, and she’s exceptionally well-suited to lead our advertising and marketing efforts.”
Bock said she is eager to take on a new role.
“I think that advertising and marketing have a natural tie, a natural connection,” she said. “I think it’s a really great fit. I’m excited for this next chapter.”
