Man fatally shot in Pittsburgh's East Hills neighborhood identified
Officials have released the name of the man who was fatally shot Tuesday night in Pittsburgh’s East Hills neighborhood.
Hezon Wilson, 25, of the East Hills died at the scene in the 2300 block of East Hills Drive, according to the Allegheny County Medical Examiner’s Office.
Wilson was pronounced dead by responding city EMS personnel, according to Pittsburgh Public Safety.
Pittsburgh police responded shortly before 9:30 p.m. to a ShotSpotter alert on East Hills Drive. They began efforts to resuscitate the unresponsive man, who had a gunshot wound to his upper body.
The city’s Mobile Crime Unit found seven shell casings at the scene.
An investigation is continuing.
