A man who was found late Wednesday night in Hazelwood with two stab wounds to the chest was hospitalized in critical condition, Pittsburgh police said.

Police said they found the man outside his vehicle at the intersection of Trowbridge Street and Glenwood Avenue at approximately 9:30 p.m. They had located the victim when they were responding to 911 calls about the stabbing.

The stabbing was the result of an argument between the victim and another man a few blocks away from where the victim was found, police said. Both the suspect and the victim had left the scene in separate vehicles.

No one was arrested in the stabbing, police said.

The police department’s mobile crime unit was working to locate the crime scene and detectives from the violent crime unit are investigating.
