Man grazed by bullet in Pittsburgh’s Carrick neighborhood

Pittsburgh police are investigating a shooting that injured one man in the city’s Carrick neighborhood early Tuesday morning.

Police responded to reports of a person shot on the 1900 block of Brownsville Road around 2 a.m.

The victim had been grazed in the stomach. He was taken to the hospital in stable condition.

Further details were not immediately available.

This was the second of three Pittsburgh shootings that happened in a 10-hour span. A 1-year-old boy died after a 6 p.m. shooting in Spring Hill. The third shooting happened Uptown, leaving a man in critical condition.
