Man killed in Sheraden shooting; 3 wounded in unrelated Pittsburgh shootings
A man was killed Monday night in a shooting in the Sheraden neighborhood, Pittsburgh police said.
The man was found on the street in the 1300 block of Pritchard Street around 8:40 p.m. and was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
Pittsburgh EMS was called to the scene.
The Allegheny County medical examiner’s office identified the shooting victim as Darnell Campbell, 32, of Sheraden.
Additional details were not available late Monday night.
City police also are investigating two other, separate shootings that left three people wounded on Monday.
A man was hospitalized in stable condition after being shot in the chest in the 400 block of Cathedral Avenue in Mt. Oliver, at around 2 p.m., Pittsburgh police said.
Pittsburgh EMS transported the victim to a local hospital in critical condition, but he was later upgraded to stable condition.
The suspect fled towards an unknown direction.
In another incident, two women were shot around 6 a.m. Monday in the Spring Hill City View neighborhood of Pittsburgh, police said.
One woman was hospitalized in serious condition with a wound to the abdomen and the other woman was reported in stable condition after being shot in the foot.
There were about five or six shots fired in the 1300 block of Rhine Place, police sad.
Police said the women were transported to the hospital by private transportation.
