A man was hospitalized in critical condition Thursday after being stabbed in Pittsburgh’s North Side.

Pittsburgh police found the man, who they have not named, around 6 a.m. near the intersection of Pressley Street and Cedar Avenue in the city’s East Allegheny, or Deutschtown, neighborhood.

Police said the man had been stabbed in the back.

Using drones, police were able to find a second man, who fled from the scene, near the 16th Street Bridge, police spokeswoman Cara Cruz said.

The suspect was taken into custody, Cruz said. No charges have been filed.

A woman who fled the scene with the man is being detained for questioning.
