Man suffers gunshot wound to leg in Duquesne


Multiple homes, vehicle also hit by gunfire, police say

A man was in stable condition after being shot in Duquesne Saturday afternoon, Allegheny County Police said.

The shooting in the 100 block of Erwin Street was reported to 911 shortly before 3 p.m.

According to county police, first responders found the man had been shot in a leg. He was taken to an area hospital.

Detectives found that multiple homes and a vehicle were also hit by gunfire, county police said.

Anyone with information about the shooting is asked to call the county police tip line at 833-255-8477. Callers can remain anonymous.
