McKeesport woman charged in connection with death of man found wrapped in plastic
A McKeesport woman was taken into police custody Tuesday in connection with the murder of Donte Glover, a 36-year-old man who was found dead and wrapped in plastic.
Lindsey Jackson, 37, is facing charges of homicide, abuse of a corpse and tampering with evidence, Allegheny County Sheriff’s Office said. Jackson turned herself in Tuesday afternoon to sheriff’s deputies and will be housed at Allegheny County Jail.
Jackson was awaiting arraignment.
Allegheny County 911 received a call about a body wrapped in plastic in the 600 block of McKeesport’s Evans Avenue around 9 p.m. May 1. It also was reported that a woman, later identified as Jackson, fled the apartment by jumping from a balcony, the sheriff said.
McKeesport police responded to the scene and met Glover’s family. Glover had been reported missing to East McKeesport police on April 30. His family came to the apartment, which they later found belonged to Jackson, to look for him.
The Allegheny County Medical Examiner’s Office identified the deceased man as Glover on May 2. The office said he died from a gunshot wound to the head and it ruled the death a homicide. A criminal complaint was filed against Jackson on May 26.
Anyone with information about the incident or Jackson is asked to call the Allegheny County Police Tip line at 1-833-ALL-TIPS (1-833-255-8477). Callers can remain anonymous. The department can also be reached via its social media sites.
