A Monroeville convenience store is getting a $10,000 bonus after Pennsylvania Lottery officials said it sold a scratch-off ticket that won $3 million.

The winning ticket, sold at the Mosside Boulevard Sheetz, was the top prize in a $30 Snow Bank game. The person with the winning ticket claimed the prize, according to lottery officials.

Scratch-off tickets are distributed to retailers randomly, which means lottery officials and the stores don’t know where the winning tickets land. Players won millions of dollars in scratch-off tickets last month statewide, according to data from the Pennsylvania Lottery. That includes 684 people in Allegheny County and 313 in Westmoreland.

There were 389 people who won on the Snow Bank ticket during February with the highest prize of $3,000.
