Assault, DUI cases among recent Monroeville police investigations

Monroeville police filed the following charges Aug. 7-12 in District Judge Jeffrey L. Herbst’s office:

• Samuel Heinz, 41, of Penn Hills with receiving stolen property, driving with a suspended license and three counts of retail theft. Charges were filed Aug. 12 in connection with an incident along the 4000 block of William Penn Highway.

• Tamera Dixon, 35, of Monroeville with simple assault, harassment and criminal mischief. Charges were filed Aug. 7 in connection with an incident along the 4100 block of Ivanhoe Drive.

• Julius Scott, 33, of Monroeville with simple assault, harassment and criminal mischief. Charges were filed Aug. 7 in connection with an incident along the 4100 block of Ivanhoe Drive.

• Joseph Williams II, 36, of Braddock with driving under the influence and driving with a suspended license. Charges were filed Aug. 12 in connection with an incident at Route 22 and Route 48.
