District court: Judge Jeffrey Herbst handles DUI, theft, assault, other cases

Monroeville District Court Judge Jeffrey Herbst handled these cases recently. Defendants will have court dates set in the Allegheny County Court of Common Pleas. Charges were filed by Monroeville police unless otherwise noted.

Waived for court

• Ryan Turner, 39, of Homer City on a charge of retail theft. The charge was filed March 16.

• Adolph Knight Moore, 45, of McKeesport on charges of driving with a blood alcohol level of greater than .02 under a suspended or revoked license, possession of a controlled substance, a DUI and reckless driving. Charges were filed by Pitcairn police June 27.

• Joshua Stenger, 39, of New Kensington on two charges of aggravated assault. Charges were filed May 23.

• Ethan M. Earhart, 34, of Derry on charges of possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and using improper traffic signals. Charges were filed May 21.

• Jordan Raymere Trowery, 34, of Verona on a charge of receiving stolen property. The charge was filed Jan. 29.

• Richard B. Ray, 65, of Pitcairn on charges of a DUI, criminal mischief, driving at an unsafe speed, careless driving, reckless driving and a charge that he violated the state’s open container law. Charges were filed July 15. He also faced three DUI charges and a careless driving charge for a separate incident. Those charges were filed Feb. 12.

• Vincent Strader, 47, of McKeesport on charges of possession of a controlled substance and failing to use proper turning signals. Charges were filed Feb. 25.

• Christopher Duane Maier, 59, of East Pittsburgh on a charge of DUI. The charge was filed March 14.

• Chad M. Madjerich, 34, of Verona on charges of theft by unlawful taking, carrying a firearm without a license and possession of drugs or paraphernalia. Charges were filed Feb. 23.

• Marissa Patterson, 31, of Clymer on charges of endangering the welfare of children, a DUI, possession of a controlled substance, use or possession of drug paraphernalia and driving under a suspended or revoked license. Charges were file May 14.

• Lewis Daniel Migliore, 19, of Penn Hills on two DUIs, failing to use proper turning signals, speeding and reckless driving. Charges were filed Jan. 16.

• Michael Patrick Shaffner, 31, of Monroeville on two DUIs, disregarding traffic lanes, speeding, careless driving and reckless driving. Charges were filed May 9.

• Tony Anthony Winbush, 31, of Verona on charges of possession with intent to deliver, possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana, use or possession of drug paraphernalia and driving with a suspended or revoked license. Charges were filed Jan. 13.

• Christine D. Heider, 47, of Monroeville on charges of driving with a suspended or revoked license and a DUI. Charges were filed May 11. She also faced charges of making false reports, causing an accident that involved damage to an attended vehicle, driving under a suspended or revoked license and operating a vehicle without the required financial responsibility. Those charges were filed Jan. 31.

• Willie Lewis Todd III, 28, of Verona on charges of causing an accident that involved damage to an attended vehicle, driving under a suspended or revoked license and operating a vehicle without the required financial responsibility. Charges were filed Feb. 14.

• Dominique Lamont Hawkins, 34, of Monroeville on a DUI charge and charges of disregarding a traffic lane, following too closely, failing to use turning signals, speeding and careless driving. Charges were filed March 5.

• Michael Scala, 38, of North Braddock on charges of possession of a controlled substance, use and possession of drug paraphernalia, driving under a suspended or revoked license, failure to stop at a stop sign and driving without a license. Charges were filed Feb. 26.

• Harry Randall, 25, of North Braddock on charges of unlawful possession of a firearm, carrying a firearm without a license, tampering with evidence, obstruction of the administration of law, disorderly conduct and receiving stolen property. Charges were filed May 25.

Held for court

• Rebecca Suits, 59, of Wilkinsburg on a charge of obstructing the administration of law. The charge was filed by Churchill police on Oct. 21, 2019.

• Christopher Cason, 47, of Monroeville on charges of simple assault, harassment and disorderly conduct. Charges were filed June 1, 2018.

• Devin Naylor, 27, of Homestead on charges of obstructing the administration of law, resisting arrest, two counts of possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana, driving under a suspended or revoked license and for improper window tinting. Charges were filed April 23.

• Jason Michael Woodall, 46, of Monroeville on charges of possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana and driving under a suspended or revoked license. Charges were filed May 4.

• Brandon Michael Stevenson, 33, of Monroeville on three counts of aggravated assault, two counts of making terroristic threats, unlawful possession of a firearm, endangering the welfare of children, simple assault, recklessly endangering another person and strangulation. Charges were filed June 26.

• Joshua Devon Austin-Pollard, 28, of Pitcairn on three counts of recklessly endangering another person, aggravated assault, endangering the welfare of children, fleeing or attempting to elude an officer, simple assault, disorderly conduct, driving under a suspended or revoked license, driving in a rotary isle the wrong way, speeding, leaving a motor vehicle unattended, careless driving, reckless driving and not using headlights. Charges were filed by Pitcairn police on April 27.

• Leonard Allen Hall, 19, who is listed as homeless, on charges of carrying a firearm without a license and the use or possession of drug paraphernalia. Charges were filed by Penn Hills police on May 22.

• Robert Lawrence Snipe, 37, of Penn Hills on a charge of failing to comply with the registration of sexual offender requirements. The charge was filed by Penn Hills police May 6.

• Jeremiah Richard Eason, 35, of Penn Hills on charges of fleeing or attempting to elude an officer, resisting arrest, disorderly conduct, two DUI charges, disregarding a traffic lane, failure to stop at a stop sign, failure to yield to an emergency vehicle, speeding, careless driving, trespassing while driving, reckless driving and failure to allow a police officer to investigate. Charges were filed Dec. 28.

• Dajour Jones, 22, of Ingram on charges of possession of drugs with intent to deliver, possession of a controlled substance, use or possession of drug paraphernalia, failure to use turning signals and violating Pennsylvania window tinting laws. Charges were filed April 16.

• Justin Thomas Mires, 40, of Cleveland, Ohio, on charges of possession of drugs with intent to deliver, possession of a controlled substance, use or possession of drug paraphernalia, not yielding at a roadway, failure to use turning signals, improperly stopping and having an obstructed window shield. Charges were filed March 15.
