Drug, DUI cases among recent Monroeville police investigations
Monroeville police filed the following charges Jan. 22 to Feb. 6 in District Judge Jeffrey L. Herbst’s office:
• Devin Simons, 27, of Pittsburgh with possession of controlled substances, possession of a small amount of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, driving under the influence and public drunkenness. Charges were filed Jan. 29 in connection with an incident along the 4000 block of Monroeville Boulevard.
• Aaron Johns, 41, of Connellsville with driving under the influence. Charges were filed Jan. 29 in connection with an incident along the 3000 block of Mosside Boulevard.
• Kelsey Smith, 25, of Pittsburgh with retail theft. Charges were filed Jan. 22 in connection with an incident along the 3600 block of William Penn Highway.
- Steven Strutt, 46, of North Huntingdon with possession of a small amount of marijuana, registration and certificate of title required, driving with a suspended license, driving without a license and general lighting requirements. Charges were filed Feb. 1 in connection with an incident along the 4000 block of Logans Ferry Road.
- Eugene Davis, 21, of Pittsburgh with retail theft. Charges were filed Feb. 1 in connection with an incident along the 400 block of Mall Circle Drive.
- Devin Simons, 27, of Pittsburgh with possession of controlled substances, possession a small amount of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, driving under the influence and public drunkenness. Charges were filed Jan. 29 in connection with an incident along the 4000 block of Monroeville Boulevard.
- Aaron Johns, 41, of Connellsville with driving under the influence. Charges were filed Jan. 29 in connection with an incident along the 3000 block of Mosside Boulevard.
- Daniel Dick, 47, of Pitcairn with theft by unlawful taking, receiving stolen property and defiant trespasser. Charges were filed Feb. 1 in connection with an incident along the 4200 block of William Penn Highway.
- Robin Kaczynski, 58, of Monroeville with driving under the influence, accident involving damage to attended vehicle or property, driving with a suspended license, driving without required financial responsibility and failure to stop and give information or render aid. Charges were filed Feb. 6 in connection with an incident at Center Road and William Penn Highway.
- Regis Klein, 42, of Pittsburgh with retail theft. Charges were filed Feb. 5 in connection with an incident along the 3600 block of William Penn Highway.
