Drug, firearms cases recently handled by Judge Herbst in Monroeville - Aug. 21, 2019

Monroeville District Court Judge Jeffrey Herbst handled these cases recently. Defendants will have court dates set in the Allegheny County Court of Common Pleas. Charges were filed by Monroeville police unless otherwise noted.

Held for court

• Christopher Cooper, 28, of Monroeville on charges of possession of firearm prohibited, firearms not to be carried without a license and simple assault. Charges were filed Aug. 1.

• Casey Painter, 32, of Harrison City on charges of selling noncontrolled substances, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, delivering drug paraphernalia, driving under the influence, operating a vehicle without required financial responsibility, exceeding maximum speed limits, reckless driving, operating a vehicle without a valid inspection and operating a vehicle without evidence of emission inspection. State police filed the charges June 23.

Waived preliminary hearings

• Natalie Titus, 42, of New Kensington on charges of retail theft. Charges were filed April 30.

• Kevin Kotewicz, 54, of Pitcairn on charges of possession of controlled substances and possession of drug paraphernalia. Pitcairn police filed the charges Aug. 6.

• Tenisha Robinson, 31, of Monroeville on charges of simple assault and criminal mischief. Charges were filed Oct. 17.

• Oshay Love, 26, of Akron, Ohio on charges of escape, possession with intent to deliver, possession of controlled substances and two counts of recklessly endangering another person. State Attorney General’s Office filed the charges July 23.
