Drug, theft cases recently handled by Judge Herbst in Monroeville - Mar. 27, 2019

Monroeville District Court Judge Jeffrey Herbst handled these cases recently. Defendants will have court dates set in the Allegheny County Court of Common Pleas. Charges were filed by Monroeville police unless otherwise noted.

Held for court

  • Angela Szekely, 27, of Trafford on charges of tampering with physical evidence, possession of drug paraphernalia and two counts of possession of controlled substances. Allegheny County police filed the charges Dec. 6.
  • Katherine Hayes, 26, of Pittsburgh on charges of tampering with physical evidence, possession of drug paraphernalia and two counts of possession of controlled substances. Allegheny County police filed the charges Dec. 6.
  • Tyaire Jenkins, 24, of Turtle Creek on charges of theft by deception and conspiracy. Charges were filed Sept. 10.
  • Jasmine Ham, 27, of Pitcairn on charges of possession of controlled substances. Pitcairn police filed the charges Jan. 19.
  • Damon Walker Jr., 23, of Wilmerding on charges of retail theft and conspiracy. Charges were filed March 17.

Waived preliminary hearings

  • Davon Williams, 30, of Monroeville on charges of possession of firearm prohibited, possession of firearm with altered manufacturer number, criminal conspiracy, possession with intent to deliver, possession of controlled substances and possession of drug paraphernalia. Allegheny County police filed the charges Feb. 6.
  • Isaiah Hill, 35, of Pitcairn on charges of retail theft, conspiracy, flight to avoid apprehension and resisting arrest. Monroeville police filed the charges March 17.
  • Ann Lichniak, 47, of Charlotte on charges of promoting prostitution and possession of instruments of a crime. Allegheny County police filed the charges Oct. 31.
  • Chawron Henley, 46, of Duquesne on charges of theft by unlawful taking and criminal mischief. Charges were filed March 15.
  • Aaron Johns, 41, of Connellsville on charges of driving under the influence. Charges were filed Jan. 26.
