Monroeville District Court Judge Jeffrey Herbst handled these cases recently. Defendants will have court dates set in the Allegheny County Court of Common Pleas. Charges were filed by Monroeville police unless otherwise noted.

Held for court

  • Heather Stefanik, 24, of Vandergrift on charges of receiving stolen property, possession of controlled substances, possession of drug paraphernalia and two counts of theft by deception. Charges were filed May 21.
  • Shetea Fullard, 34, of Pitcairn on charges of flight to avoid apprehension. Pitcairn police filed the charges May 18.

Fullard went before the judge on another case. Charges of driving with a blood alcohol content of 0.02 or greater with a suspended license, habitual offenders and operating a vehicle without a valid inspection were held for court. Pitcairn police filed the charges March 9.

  • Allen Kwiecinski, 54, of White Oak on charges of retail theft and receiving stolen property. Charges were filed Oct. 27.
  • Jamaal Abdul-Rabb, 22, of Turtle Creek on charges of riot, simple assault and disorderly conduct. Charges were filed May 16.
  • Brandon Noel, 21, of McKeesport on charges of criminal attempt, aggravated assault, discharge of a firearm into an occupied space, riot and recklessly endangering another person. Charges were filed May 16.
  • Treysaun Lockett-Tillman, 21, of McKeesport on charges of riot, simple assault and disorderly conduct. Charges were filed May 16.
  • Fordery Morris IV, 20, of McKeesport on charges of riot, simple assault and disorderly conduct. Charges were filed May 16.
  • David Moore, 25, no address given on two counts of aggravated assault and simple assault. Highmark Health police filed the charges April 24.

Waived preliminary hearings

  • David Schiffer, 48, of New Kensington on charges of retail theft, driving without a license and driving with a suspended license. Charges were filed Jan. 12.

Schiffer went before the judge on two other cases. He waived a preliminary hearing on charges of retail theft and separate charges of retail theft and theft by deception. Both sets of charges were filed April 20.

  • Brady McNally, 22, of Turtle Creek on charges of aggravated assault and simple assault. Highmark Health police filed the charges April 24.
  • Ronald Williams, 38, of Pittsburgh on charges of possession of controlled substances, possession of drug paraphernalia, driving under the influence, driving without a license, driving with a suspended licence and careless driving. Charges were filed Feb. 26.
  • Heather Quear, 36, of Pitcairn on charges of theft by unlawful taking and receiving stolen property. Pitcairn police filed the charges March 3.
  • Edward Cararini, 26, of Youngwood on charges of possession of controlled substances. Charges were filed May 22.
  • Timothy Nuckels, 29, of Penn Hills on charges of possession of controlled substances and two counts of possession of drug paraphernalia. Pitcairn police filed the charges May 17.
  • Joseph Jones, 24, of Monroeville on charges of fleeing or attempting to elude officers, driving with a suspended license, reckless driving and failure to stop and give information or render aid. Charges were filed April 30.
  • Kelly Mullen, 47, of McKeesport on charges of resisting arrest and retail theft. Charges were filed May 21.
