DUI, drug cases among those recently handled by Judge Herbst in Monroeville - Aug. 25, 2020
Monroeville District Court Judge Jeffrey Herbst handled these cases recently. Defendants will have court dates set in the Allegheny County Court of Common Pleas. Charges were filed by Monroeville police unless otherwise noted.
Held for court
• Deshe Thomas, 34, of Rankin on charges of driving under the influence, driving with a suspended license and careless driving. Charges were filed June 9.
Waived preliminary hearings
• Noel Argedys, 26, of Philadelphia on charges of criminal conspiracy, possession with intent to deliver, possession of controlled substances and possession of drug paraphernalia. State Attorney General’s Office filed the charges Feb. 7.
• Maximo Almonte, 48, of Philadelphia on charges of criminal use of a communication facility, criminal conspiracy, possession with intent to deliver and possession of controlled substances. State Attorney General’s Office filed the charges Feb. 7.
• Erin Grieco, 45, of Wilkins on charges of driving under the influence and following too closely. Charges were filed Feb. 5.
• Kristy Champion, 42, of Irwin on charges of driving under the influence and driving an unregistered vehicle. Charges were filed April 26.
• Peter Kariotis, 37, of Lower Burrell on charges of possession of controlled substances, possession of drug paraphernalia and driving under the influence. Charges were filed May 22.
• Jennifer Dale O’Keefe, 31, of Monroeville on charges of endangering the welfare of children, recklessly endangering another person and two counts of aggravated assault. Charges were filed by Pitcairn police Aug. 11.
• Shannon Vogel-Burkett, 37, of Pitcairn on charges of careless driving and one DUI. Charges were filed June 4.
• Sherice Moultrie, 37, of Penn Hills on charges of theft by unlawful taking. The charge was filed Nov. 19, 2019.
