DUI, drug cases recently handled by Judge Herbst in Monroeville - Dec. 13, 2019
Monroeville District Court Judge Jeffrey Herbst handled these cases recently. Defendants will have court dates set in the Allegheny County Court of Common Pleas. Charges were filed by Monroeville police unless otherwise noted.
Held for court
• Jeffrey Sever, 38, of Monroeville on charges of strangulation, resisting arrest, harassment and two counts of simple assault. Charges were filed Oct. 26.
• Jamie Barnhart, 40, of Murrysville on charges of disorderly conduct and possession of controlled substances. Charges were filed Oct. 11.
Waived preliminary hearings
• Jason Sas, 57, of Pittsburgh on charges of driving under the influence, careless driving and improper tires. State police filed the charges Aug. 13.
• Nataisha Finn-Bey, 23, of Penn Hills on charges of driving under the influence, exceeding 55 mph in other locations by 25 mph and careless driving. State police filed the charges Aug. 13.
• Tarsha Austin, 45, of Penn Hills on charges of driving under the influence and disregarding traffic lane. State police filed the charges Aug. 8.
• Alex McSorley, 32, of Monroeville on charges of possession of controlled substances, driving under the influence and reckless driving. Charges were filed Sept. 2.
• Adam Bonacci, 31, of Plum on charges of careless driving, driving under the influence, duties at stop sign, driving at unsafe speed, reckless driving and failure to obey traffic-control devices. Charges were filed July 14.
• Christian Wells, 23, of Pittsburgh on two counts of retail theft. Charges were filed Nov. 29.
• Devaron Hunter, 51, of Wilkinsburg on charges of retail theft. Charges were filed Nov. 22.
