DUI, drug cases recently handled by Judge Herbst in Monroeville - Dec. 19, 2019

Monroeville District Court Judge Jeffrey Herbst handled these cases recently. Defendants will have court dates set in the Allegheny County Court of Common Pleas. Charges were filed by Monroeville police unless otherwise noted.

Held for court

• John Perrin, 25, of New Brighton on charges of simple assault and harassment. Charges were filed Nov. 18.

• Kerry Peyton, 44, of Pittsburgh on charges of theft by unlawful taking and retail theft. Charges were filed Oct. 13.

Waived preliminary hearings

• Quincy Ashley, 39, of Pittsburgh on charges of habitual offenders, driving under the influence, failure to keep right and careless driving. Pitcairn police filed the charges Oct. 7.

• Jesse Dearlove, 36, of Turtle Creek on charges of driving under the influence, failure to obey authorized persons directing traffic, failure to yield to emergency vehicle, driving at unsafe speeds and careless driving. Pitcairn police filed the charges June 22.

• Cody Trangle, 27, of East Pittsburgh on charges of driving under the influence, vehicle turning left and reckless driving. Charges were filed Oct. 17.

• Saafir Maddox, 25, of Monroeville on charges of conspiracy. Highmark Health police filed the charges Dec. 4.

• M. William Kish, 59, of Monroeville on charges of driving under the influence and driving with blood alcohol content of 0.02 or greater with a suspended license. Charges were filed Oct. 18.

• Nicole Bentley, 30, of North Versailles on charges of driving an unregistered vehicle, driving with a suspended license, possession of drug paraphernalia and four counts of possession of controlled substances. Pitcairn police filed the charges Dec. 6.

• Edward Hanner, 69, of Pittsburgh on charges of retail theft and possession of drug paraphernalia. Charges were filed Sept. 6.
