LEGO Brick Fest
The nation’s No. 1 LEGO event and largest touring fan-created LEGO show has reassembled. Brick Fest Live is holding its first show in 18 months with new exhibits and interactive stage shows Sept. 11-12 at Monroeville Convention Center. Show hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day.
More than one million LEGO bricks will be on display in over 70,000 square feet of space. This year at Brick Fest Live, LEGO enthusiasts will have a chance to meet contestants from the Lego Masters reality TV show.
Tickets start at $24.99 at BrickFestLive.com with staggered entry at 9 a.m., 11:30 a.m. and 2 p.m. Children 2 and younger enter for free. VIP tickets are available starting at $49.99.
Fellowship
• Beginning in September, All Souls Episcopal Church in North Versailles, will begin Sunday School at 10 a.m. on Sundays during the school year. The church is at 217 Canterbury Lane (off Route 30 behind the Dunkin store). The class is for children in preschool through early elementary. • The 20th anniversary of 9/11 will be commemorated by the Hillcrest United Presbyterian Church during a special service Sept. 12 remembering the sacrifices of first responders during this traumatic event in our nation’s history. The 11 a.m. community service will feature special music as a tribute to those who gave their lives during 9/11 to save the nation from terrorism. The Hillcrest United Presbyterian Church is at 1622 James St. in Monroeville.
• Holy Family Ladies of Charity of Holy Family Parish are collecting school supplies throughout August. Items needed include pencils, erasers, glue sticks, highlighters, scissors, small pencil sharpeners, crayons, colored pencils, dry erase markers, notebooks, binders, supply boxes or pouches, earbuds and backpacks. Supplies will benefit Penn Hills, Plum, Riverview and Holy Family schools. Items can be dropped off at any of the parish churches. Email Rebecca Robbins at rebrobb11@gmail.com for more information.
Charity golf tournament
The Great Pyrenees Club of Western Pennsylvania will host its annual charity golf tournament Aug. 30.
It will take place at Edgewood Country Club, 100 Churchill Road in Churchill.
The cost is $195 per golfer, or $65 for dinner only. The full price includes golfing, golf cart, beer, snacks, water and soda on the course, a golfer “goodie bag,” event T-shirt, lunch before the tournament, dinner after the tournament, door prizes, skill contests, raffle drawings and a hole-in-one contest.

Women’s Business Network meetings
Women’s Business Network is an award-winning business association that supports the success and growth of women in business. Garden City UMC Food Pantry
Garden City UMC food pantry, 500 Laurel Drive, holds distributions from 9 to 10:30 a.m. and from 6 to 7:30 p.m. on the second Thursday of each month. Call 412-373-0391 for an appointment. Masks are required. Upcoming distribution dates are Sept. 9, Oct. 14, Nov. 11 and Dec. 9.
English as a Second Language group
An English as a Second Language Conversation Group is held at 7 p.m. the first Wednesday of each month at the Monroeville Public Library.
Participants can meet other English language learners for informal and guided conversation practice, including reviewing pronunciation, learning new vocabulary and possibly discussing short ESL readings suited to the interests and abilities of attendees.

Farmers market
