Monroeville police are investigating a shooting that sent an Olive Garden employee to a hospital.

Police Chief Doug Cole said the worker, a 19-year-old man, was treated and released from Forbes Hospital after being shot in the leg Saturday around 9:30 p.m. in the restaurant’s parking lot along Mall Plaza Boulevard.

No arrests had been made as of Tuesday evening.

Cole said the suspect was described as a Black man standing 5 feet 11 inches tall, weighing about 240 pounds.

He wore dark clothing and had “a distinguished tattoo” on his face, the chief reported.

Officers are following up on leads in the case. No further information was released.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Monroeville police at 412-856-1111.
