A 3-year-old child was treated at a hospital after accidentally being served alcohol at a Monroeville restaurant, according to a report from Tribune-Review news partner WPXI.

The mother of the child said the incident happened at the Saga Hibachi restaurant in Monroeville when the chef squirted sake into the little girl’s mouth instead of pink lemonade, according to WPXI.

The family said the child was treated UPMC Children’s Hospital in Pittsburgh.

The manager of the restaurant apologized, according to WPXI.

“When it happened, he grabbed the wrong bottle, and gave it to the kids. It is our fault. It’s horrifying. We are truly sorry this happened. We will go step-by-step to make sure this will never happen again,” Restaurant manager, David Wang told WPXI.

Wang declined further comment when reached Tuesday by the Tribune-Review.
