Spring Trivia Night supports Monroeville library's summer reading programs
The Friends of the Monroeville Public Library will host an after-hours age 21 and older Spring Trivia Night on April 13 at the library. Doors open at 6 p.m. and the game is scheduled to start at 7 p.m.
Sliders, snacks and drinks are included in the ticket price. There also will be a bake sale, basket raffle and 50/50 drawing tickets available for purchase. During intermission, there will be a “just for fun” musical trivia game with a prize for the winning table.
A cash prize of $100 will be awarded to the first-place team and $50 for second place.
“Trivia Night is always a fun evening with challenging and entertaining questions as well as friendly competition,” said Diane Lindsey, president of the Friends of the Monroeville Public Library. “The Friends will use the proceeds from the Spring Trivia Night toward our annual donation to the library’s summer reading programs for children and teens.”
The Friends group is a nonprofit organization that has been supporting the Monroeville Public Library for more than 60 years.
For more information on cost, table options and to purchase tickets, visit the circulation desk at the library or monroevillelibrary.org. Tickets go on sale March 18. The library is located at 4000 Gateway Campus Blvd.
