Monroeville Convention Center’s last pop culture event of the year is fast approaching.

Steel City Con is scheduled for Dec. 10-12 at 209 Mall Plaza Blvd.

Thousands are expected to attend over the three days.

The final con of 2021 is packed with familiar faces of the silver and small screen, as well as up-and-coming actors and pro wrestling icons.

Several stars from the 1985 American adventure comedy “The Goonies” are on the ticket including Sean Astin, Corey Feldman, Kerri Green, Ke Huy Quan, Joe Pantoliano and Robert Davi.

Astin is also known from his time on Netflix’s “Stranger Things.”

Fellow “Stranger” Matthew Modine (“Full Metal Jacket”) is expected to attend.

Speaking of Netflix, “Cobra Kai” stars Aedin Mincks and Gianni DeCenzo are scheduled for autographs, photos and a Q&A session.

Ronny Cox and Peter Weller of “RoboCop” may thank patrons for their cooperation.

Other celebrities booked include David Koechner (“Anchorman,” “The Office”), Gianni Russo (“The Godfather”), John Ratzenberger and George Wendt from “Cheers” and Rob Schneider (“SNL,” numerous movies).

Oscar Nunez of “The Office” is also scheduled to attend the event.

Pro wrestlers stepping outside the ring include legends John Bradshaw Layfield, Kane (Glenn Jacobs) and Dustin Rhodes, as well as rising stars Sammy Guevara and Tay Conti.

Attendees are urged to use caution when parking. The outdoor ticket area is usually roped off for patron safety, and there have been parking lot attendants at neighboring businesses trying to keep spaces free.

Guest schedules are subject to change.

A costume contest is planned for the final day.

Previous cons separated contestants into children, teen and adult categories with participants judged on creativity, originality and craftsmanship.

Cash prizes and trophies will be awarded.
