Steel City Con returns to the Monroeville Convention Center on Aug. 13-15
The Monroeville Convention Center will once again be packed with artists, pop culture celebrities and enthusiasts as one of the state’s largest conventions makes its return to the municipality this month.
Steel City Con is scheduled for Aug. 13-15 at 209 Mall Plaza Blvd.
Attendees should use caution when parking. The outdoor ticket area is usually roped off for patron safety, and there have been parking lot attendants at neighboring businesses trying to keep spaces free.
Celebrities slated to attend include horror icon Robert Englund (Freddy Krueger); WWE Hall of Famer and Olympic gold medalist Kurt Angle; fellow WWE Hall of Famer Mick Foley; Carl Weathers (Rocky films, Star Wars, The Mandalorian); Jon Bernthal (The Walking Dead, Punisher); and other “The Walking Dead” stars Emily Kinney, Cailey Fleming and Steve Ogg.
Terry Michos, Michael Beck, Thomas Waites, James Remar, Dorsey Wright and David Harris of “The Warriors” are all expected to attend all three days.
Rock legend Meat Loaf and legendary voice actor Jim Cummings, along with rising pro wrestling star Orange Cassidy, are also on the ticket. Cassidy is scheduled for Saturday and Sunday only.
Tickets are $23 for Aug. 13 and 15, and $35 for Aug. 14. Three-day passes for $50 are still available.
Guest schedules are subject to change.
