Adrienne Scarano of Monroeville is greeted by Pittsburgh sports mascots during the Susan G. Komen West Pennsylvania More than Pink Walk.

Adrienne Scarano of Monroeville, a two-time cancer survivor, was among the participants in the 2022 Susan G. Komen West Pennsylvania More than Pink Walk.

Replacing the annual Race for the Cure event, the walk took place on Mother’s Day in Pittsburgh’s Schenley Park.

The walk has raised nearly $400,000 toward ending breast cancer by funding research while increasing access to care and offering support in the community. For more information, visit www.komen.org.
