Roberto Clemente Bridge will close Saturday
The Roberto Clemente Bridge (Sixth Street Bridge) will be closed to vehicular traffic from noon to 9 p.m. Saturday, according to Pittsburgh’s Department of Public Works.
The closure is because of an event through the Clemente Museum, which was granted a permit for the closure.
Vehicles will be detoured using Fort Duquesne Boulevard, the Andy Warhol Bridge (Seventh Street Bridge) and Isabella Street, the announcement said.
Man shows up to hospital after being shot
Early Friday morning, a man showed up at a Pittsburgh-area hospital after being shot, TribLive news partner WTAE reported.
He was shot in the ankle and was last reported to be stable.
The shooting happened somewhere along Webster Avenue in the city’s Hill District, according to Pittsburgh Public Safety.
Forward Avenue on-ramp closed for fire cleanup
The Parkway West (Interstate 376) on-ramp at Forward Avenue will be closed Friday morning for fire cleanup, according to SigAlert.
A fire gutted the nearly century-old Jefferson Hills apartment building on Tuesday in Squirrel Hill.
