Forest Hills school van crash sends driver to hospital

A school van driver was taken to a hospital for evaluation following a crash Monday afternoon in Forest Hills.

The van collided with another vehicle at Filmore Road and Ardmore Boulevard. Both vehicles appeared to have heavy damage, TribLive news partner WTAE reported.

Woodland Hills School District said three students who attend local Trinity Christian School were on board at the time.

No injuries were reported among the passengers, but one of the students may have gone to a local hospital to be checked as a precaution, according to WTAE.

Additional details weren’t available.

The district uses the services of several companies to transport students who live in the district to private and charter schools.
