A fire appears to have extensively damaged a home in Munhall early Monday morning.

Fire scorches home in Munhall

A fire early Monday morning tore through a Munhall home, leaving crews to fight the blaze for hours. 

The first reports of the fire, which took place near East 8th Street, came around 2:45 a.m., according to Allegheny County 911 dispatchers.

There was no one transported from the scene, but emergency responders remained there as of 5:15 a.m., dispatchers said.


Blaze breaks out in McKeesport home

Emergency crews responded to calls for a house fire early Monday morning in McKeesport.

The blaze broke out around 3:15 a.m. on the 800 block of Evans Avenue.

As of 5:30 a.m., crews remained on scene, according to Allegheny County 911 dispatchers. No one was transported from the scene, dispatchers said.
