A multiple-vehicle crash along the outbound lanes of Interstate 376 caused a traffic backup Monday morning from Pittsburgh’s Squirrel Hill tunnels to the Greensburg Pike exit.

The accident was reported shortly before 7:30 a.m. between the Beechwood Boulevard Exit 74 and Exit 77 for Edgewood/Swissvale, according to PennDOT.

The wrecked vehicles were moved to the shoulder, but two of the lanes remained blocked, forcing motorists to bottleneck into a single lane as they passed the scene of the crash.

Further information was not available.
