The first “Movies in the Park” event had to be rescheduled due to poor weather. It will take place July 11, 2020, at Newhouse Park in Delmont.

Due to weather concerns, the Delmont Recreation Board will shift its first “Movies in the Park” series of the summer to July 11, with the addition of live music.

It will be at 6 p.m. at Newhouse Park, featuring music from The Phisbins.

Food will be available to purchase at the concession stand and Yellow Bridge Brewing will be on hand selling beverages.

At dusk, the board will screen the Disney classic “Honey, I Shrunk the Kids.”

Attendees can bring a blanket or lawn chair. Social distancing should be observed.

For more, and future events, see the Delmont Recreation page on Facebook.
