“Egg My Yard” registration opens Feb. 21
Murrysville residents seeking to have their yards “egged” this Easter by the recreation department can begin signing up on Feb. 21 at 10 a.m.
Department members will hide candy-filled plastic eggs for a “family-sized” egg hunt. Select eggs also will include prizes to be redeemed at local merchants.

Dem Club accepting scholarship applications
The Murrysville Export Democratic Club is accepting applications for it annual Biden Harris Spirit Scholarship, awarded to a graduating Franklin Regional senior who exemplifies the spirit of community service.
The recipient will receive $500. Additional $100 scholarship awards will be given to up to two additional graduating seniors.
Applicants will be required to submit an essay describing how they serve the community and what inspired them to such service; also required is submission of at least one letter of recommendation from a Franklin Regional faculty member identifying that the student is in good standing at school.
Applications are due by March 13, and are available by emailing MEDCscholarship@gmail.com. Completed applications can be sent to Margaret Ryan, P.O. Box 392, Murrysville, PA 15668.

Murrysville Woman’s Club to meet Feb. 17
The Murrysville Woman’s Club will meet at 11:15 a.m. Feb. 17 at the Lamplighter, 6566 William Penn Highway in Salem. A wine pairing with Andrew Ferri will take place at noon.
