The North Allegheny 2023 TigerThon team, which raises money to fight pediatric cancer, held a sign to recognize Hannah, the organization’s honorary captain of the homecoming game on Oct. 7, 2022. The theme of the TigerThon float was “Knock Out Pediatric Cancer.” Hannah was diagnosed June 12, 2020, with stage IV, high risk neuroblastoma. according to the TigerThon team. She performed the coin toss.

Seniors Gianna Capizzi, of Allison Park and Harron Lee, of Mars were named North Allegheny’s homecoming queen and king at festivities on Oct. 7, 2022. Gianna represented Junior ROTC and Harron represented TigerThon, a student organization that raises awareness and money to help fight pediatric cancer.

North Allegheny celebrated Homecoming on Oct. 7 with a theme of “Around the World.”

A parade representing 18 student organizations preceded the game. Family-friendly activities included a carnival, food trucks, face painting and games.

Seniors Gianna Capizzi, of Allison Park and Harron Lee, of Mars won honors as Homecoming king and queen. Capizzi represented NA’s Junior ROTC and Harron represented TigerThon, a student organization that raises awareness and money to fight pediatric cancer.
