Part of Harts Run Road in Hampton is scheduled to close for construction at 8 a.m. Wednesday, July 23, PennDOT announced Monday.

Harts Run Road will be closed between Rosanna Drive and Woodland Road so crews with A. Liberoni can conduct wall construction, base repair and shoulder reconstruction.

The nearly 1-mile stretch will be closed around-the-clock until Aug. 20, PennDOT said.

The posted detour from west of the closure will be:

• From Harts Run Road, take Route 8 northbound;

• Turn right onto Wildwood Road;

• Turn right onto Middle Road;

• Follow Middle Road back to Harts Run Road.

The detour from east of the closure is the same in the opposite direction.

Information about conditions on major roadways is available online at 511.pa.com. The site provides traffic delay warnings, weather forecasts, traffic speed information and access to traffic cameras.
