Thirty fifth-grade students from North Allegheny’s Ingomar Elementary School decorated sweet treat ornaments for the tree at Millie’s Homemade Ice Cream on Perry Highway in Wexford. The shop invited the students of IES teacher Lauren Clore’s art classes to pick a favorite holiday sweet and recreate it. Shop owner Nicole Caravella hopes this will become an yearly holiday tradition. The ornaments will be displayed through the end of December.
