The creepy, kooky, mysterious and spooky will be brought to life, so to speak, for North Allegheny’s fall production of “The Addams Family Musical” — hitting the stage on Nov. 6, 8 and 9 at the senior high school.

Director Bob Tozier, chair of the North Allegheny music department, said the high school students are excited to share the musical with the public.

“The incredibly funny ‘Addams Family Musical’ is based on the iconic characters created by Charles Addams. There are clever jokes, ironic one-liners and morbidly funny songs. Larger-than-life characters like Gomez, Morticia, Wednesday, Pugsley, Uncle Fester, Grandma and Lurch are showcased in this family-friendly musical,” Tozier said.

Roles include junior Arjun Puri as Gomez, senior Olivia Parsons as Morticia, junior Sam Peffer as Fester and senior Jackson Wasielewski as Lurch.

Wednesday, the Addams family’s dark-haired, melancholy daughter — which has been made even more popular by the Netflix series of the same name — will be played by senior Casey Richey.

Other characters include seniors Dean Cammarata as Lucas, Avery Besket as Pugsley and Sam Thirkell as Mal; juniors Ethan Bice as Grandma and Juliet Forrest as Alice, along with other supporting cast members.

Tickets are $14, not including service fees, and can be purchased via NAMusical.com.

Show times will be at 7 p.m. Nov. 6 and 8 and 2 p.m. Nov. 9. A preview performance for senior citizens with gold cards and staff members will be held at 4:30 p.m. Nov. 5.

The Gold Card Club is for those who are 60 and older and live in the North Allegheny School District. To become a member, stop by the North Allegheny Central Administration Offices, 200 Hillvue Lane, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Mondays through Fridays.
