Crews worked Thursday morning to repair a major water main break at a McCandless intersection, according to Tribune-Review news partner WPXI-TV.

Water was bubbling up out of the ground at the corner of Ingomar and Bellcrest roads near the Ingomar Elementary School early Thursday.

WPXI reported the break appeared to be from a building that houses a barbershop on the first floor.

The West View Water Authority said the break was affecting customers in the area, but did not give a specific number on how many people were impacted.

North Allegheny School District Superintendent Melissa Friez said no changes were being considered for the school day at Ingomar Elementary.
