Democratic candidates swept elections for four Ross commissioner seats in Tuesday’s election, according to unofficial Allegheny County election results.

Voters elected commissioners in four of the township’s nine wards.

In Ward 2, incumbent Democrat Chris Rand Eyster defeated Republican Joseph Aguglia.

In Ward 4, Democrat Dwayne Lee Allen defeated Republican Jared Miller for the seat currently held by Joe Laslavic.

In Ward 6, Democrat Haley Warden-Rodgers defeated Republican Justin Jeffrey. The seat had been held by John Kettering, who lost to Warden-Rodgers in the primary.

In Ward 8, Commissioner Denise Rickenbrode, a Democrat, defeated Republican candidate Dean Riegel. Riegel remained on the ballot after winning in the primary, but said he was no longer eligible to hold the seat as he moved out of Ross after the primary for health-related reasons.
