A dental center in the North Hills is offering free exams, oral cancer screenings and cleanings for active and retired military veterans, police officers, firefighters and other first responders.

This is the fifth consecutive year Babcock Dental Center in Ross Township has held a Freedom Day event to show appreciation for military personal and emergency responders as well as their immediate families.

The services will be provided from 9 a.m. to noon on Friday, Sept. 20.

Mention Freedom Day when calling to schedule an appointment at 412-369-9010.

Babcock Dental is located at 3372 Babcock Boulevard.
