Fajita Pete’s coming to Ross
Fajita Pete’s, a Tex-Mex chain that is slowly making its way up from Texas, is set to open its doors on Feb. 12 at The Block Northway in Ross.
Located on Northway Mall Drive, the 1,733 square-foot restaurant will serve Tex-Mex cuisine, including its namesake fajitas, in single orders and multiple family-size options.
Owners Chris and Brittny Mabry relocated from Texas and brought a little bit of home with them.
According to the Fajita Pete’s Pittsburgh Facebook page, Brittny Mabry, a Pittsburgh native, attended college in Texas, where she met Chris.
The post added that she’s “bringing her favorite things back to Pittsburgh, her husband, son and Tex-Mex.”
According to its website, Fajita Pete’s will be open seven days a week, Monday-Saturday from 11 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. and Sunday from noon to 8:30 p.m. The restaurant will offer dine-in, takeout and catering options.
“We believe that the community will thoroughly enjoy our handmade tortillas, flavorful fajitas, freshly made chips, guacamole and queso, and other staple Tex-Mex offerings,” the couple said in a statement. “We look forward to becoming a favorite destination for food lovers and families alike.”
