Getting a book autographed by an author making the rounds of signing events is a pretty common occurrence.
But it’s not every day that readers can get their books “pawtagraphed.”
Tyrion Pittister of Sewickley, a pitt bull that was rescued from a dog fighting ring in Georgia in 2014, will be on hand with his owner Laurie Holding at the Riverstone Book shop from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, April 13 to “pawtagraph” copies of the children’s book “Tyrion’s Tale.”
The book chronicles Tyrion’s journey since his rescue from a life of neglect and abuse.
Tyrion was first taken in by the Pittsburgh area non-profit Hello Bully rescue. He also is the first animal to receive a grant from the Ian Somerhalder Foundation to help pay for his surgeries and other initial veterinary bills.
