A free document shredding event is scheduled for Saturday at UPMC Passavant in McCandless.
The event runs from 9 a.m. to noon April 6 in the hospital’s Green Lot located at 9100 Babcock Boulevard.
There is a limit of six boxes per vehicle.
This is the third year the hospital and its foundation have held a community shredding event.
Last year, 17,500 pounds of paper was shredded and $190 in donations were collected for the Passavant Hospital Foundation.
