How to deal with job burnout is the topic of a free program at 7 p.m. on April 17 at Saints John and Paul Church in Franklin Park.

Dr. Geri Puleo, who is an expert on burnout and change management, will outline what job burnout is, why it matters and what can be done about it.

The program will cover the personal risk factors and workplace situations that can lead to burnout; the potential debilitating emotional, psychological and physical affects of burnout; and steps that be taken to address the problem.

An informal networking session for people seeking employment or changing careers will begin at 6:30 p.m.

No registration is needed to attend the workshop ,which will be held in the multipurpose room below the church at 2586 Wexford Bayne Road.

The church’s Job Search Ministry also offers free services including resume review, monthly professional development programs, networking and a Job Search Work Team that meets twice monthly.

Participants need not be members of the church.
