Marshall seeking residents to fill openings on township advisory boards
Marshall Township is seeking applicants for openings on three groups that advise the board of supervisors.
Residents who want to be considered for the positions should send a letter of interest and qualifications to: Marshall Township, Attn: Julie Bastianini, Township Manager, 525 Pleasant Hill Rd., Suite #100, Wexford, PA 15090. Submissions also can be sent by email to: jbastianini@twp.marshall.pa.us.
Applications from township residents are being accepted through Feb. 25 for the following positions:
• Planning Commission: Professional architectural, building, planning or zoning experience is preferred but not required. Commission members are expected to attend meetings that are held at 7 p.m. on the first Tuesday of the month.
• Uniform Construction Code/Property Maintenance Appeals Board: Hears appeals of building construction and property maintenance code violations issued by the township. Candidates should have training and experience in building construction, including but not limited to architects, engineers, building inspectors and/or plan reviewers.
• Parks and Recreation Advisory Committee: Advise township supervisors on matters relating to park facilities, recreational programs and policies. Committee works closely with the recreation director to promote the township’s parks, activities and amenities.
