Starting Monday, a section of Babcock Boulevard in McCandless will be closed for a project that is expected to take until mid-August to complete, according to Allegheny County Department of Public Works.

Babcock will be shut down at 9 a.m. June 10 at its intersection with Fairfied Road for preservation work on Little Pine Creek Bridge No. 11.

Traffic will follow a detour using Duncan Avenue and McKnight Road.
