Applicants are being accepted for an opening on the Ross/West View EMS Authority board.

The board’s primary responsibility is to oversee business aspects of the Authority’s operations and provide ideas, direction and recommendations on its finances and administration.

The person selected for the volunteer position will serve a 5-year term.

All applicants must submit a completed application and undergo a free background check, both of which can be completed online.

Submit the application and background check in person at the municipal building, by mail, or electronically to Ross Township manager Doug Sample at: dsample@ross.pa.us.

The municipal building is located at 1000 Municipal Drive in Ross.

The ambulance service provides emergency medical care for the municipalities of Ross, West View, Millvale, Reserve and Ohio.
